Sports journalist, Veronica Commey has called for the dissolution of Sports in Ghana following Ghana's abysmal performance in the 2024 Olympic Games.

Despite sending eight athletes to the Olympic games held in Paris in France, Ghana managed to secure zero medals.

Veronica Commey, joining a panel discussion on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' morning show on the aftermath of the Olympics, registered her displeasure with the current state of the country's sporting fraternity.

To her, it is obvious that the nation's leaders and Sports authorities are disinterested in developing the country's Sports.

"You cannot reap where you have not sown," she said.

She stressed; "We must collapse our Sports because obviously we are not interested in developing Sports. We are not interested in progress of the nation or helping to push up talents."
