NPP Women’s Organizer, Kate Gyamfua has reacted to the prophetic message by Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah to former President John Dramani Mahama.
The General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev. Dr. Owusu-Bempah on Tuesday, October 1, declared former President and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, winner of the impending December polls.
“Because of your kind-heartedness God has handed over the country to you and nothing can change it,” Rev. Dr. Owusu-Bempah made this declaration during a Clergy meeting with John Mahama.
He stressed “through you, the nation will move forward and nothing can stop it”.
Responding to these declarations, Kate Gyamfua, in an interview with Nana Yaw Kesseh on Peace FM’s 'Kokrokoo' morning show on Wednesday, October 2, said that Rev. Owusu-Bempah who used to be the 'darling Prophet' of the New Patriotic Party spoke "out of pain".
According to her, Rev Dr. Owusu-Bempah is infuriated by a kind of treatment he strongly feels the party has subjected him to, hence his sudden change of mind to support the NPP and their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s victory in the December presidential election.
Kate Gyamfua pleaded with him to let bygones be bygones and also asked for God’s forgiveness for him for prophesying because of a hurtful feeling.
“I pray God to forgive those Pastors prophesying out of pain,” she said.
She, however, noted that the NPP will do all it can to reconcile with him.
