You're A Brigadier of Religious Tolerance - Clergy Commends Bawumia

Leadership of the Christian community in the Ahafo Region has acknowledged the efforts of the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, at promoting inclusivity and religious tolerance in Ghana.

At a meeting with Dr. Bawumia in Goaso in the Ahafo Region on Tuesday in which he explained his policies and vision to the Clergy, the Clergy showered praises on him and encouraged him not to shun this laudable quality of his, stressing "action speaks louder than words and you have demonstrated your humility and your religious tolerance to bring people together".

Rt Rev Kwesi Dadson of the Methodist Diocese of Ahafo Region, who spoke on behalf of the clergy, also said; "With the kind of humility you display, I believe that the God, in whom you believe, will continue to give you courage to do that." 

The Pastor urged Dr. Bawumia to continue upholding his unifying character as leader of the country stating "don't move away from these values when God gives you the power".

Dr. Bawumia is in the Ahafo Region as part of his nationwide campaign tour.

He has been engaging various stakeholders across the country including religious and traditional leaders, traders, artisans, the youth and members of the public by going home to home as well as moving to the streets.
